Fulgor Paper is an iPhone app. It draws a layered paper landscape under a night sky, generated fresh rather than looped from a video: thunderstorms roll in and pass on their own, rain and wind are synthesised as they fall, thunder answers its own lightning, and the moon crosses the sky over the course of a session. Set a sleep timer and the sound and the light fade out together.

There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing to configure before it works. Open it, put the phone down, go to sleep.

Questions

How do I make it stop by itself?

Open settings — the faint pill at the bottom right — and pick a Sleep timer. Sound and light fade out together, then the app stops and lets the phone lock.

Where are the storms?

They come and go on their own, roughly every hour. Settings → Storm sets how close they come: Distant (the default, gentle), Passing, or Overhead.

Does it keep playing with the screen locked?

Yes.

Privacy

Fulgor Paper collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, and no network connection of any kind. The full privacy policy spells out what that means.
